Washington, DC – October 25, 2025 – Ms. P’s Child and Family Services, in collaboration with Angel Arena Childcare and Right Direction Learning, proudly announces the Annual Infant & Toddler Cancer Walk, a community event dedicated to raising awareness, showing support, and inspiring hope for families affected by childhood cancer.
As family childcare educators, we understand that families face many challenges, but few are as devastating as a cancer diagnosis in a child. Our commitment to this cause began when one of our young students was diagnosed with cancer. Witnessing their strength and courage through treatment deeply moved us, and it became clear that our role as educators extends far beyond the classroom.
This mission became even more personal when Ms. P’s, Director of Ms. P’s Child and Family Services, faced her own battle with breast cancer. What could have been a breaking point became a turning point, a moment to stand stronger for families walking through similar struggles.
“Cancer doesn’t just affect one person — it affects entire families and communities,” said Ms. P’s. “This walk isn’t just about raising awareness. It’s about creating a movement of love, education, and support. Together, we can stomp out cancer and deliver our families to a place of healing and hope.
The Infant & Toddler Cancer Walk is not just a fundraiser — it’s a community celebration of life, resilience, and education. Families, educators, and community members are invited to walk, share stories, and connect with local resources and organizations that support cancer awareness and prevention.

All proceeds and donations will go toward supporting local families impacted by cancer and providing educational workshops for early childhood educators on how to support children and families coping with illness.
